The Games I play

Since gaming is one of my very favorite past times, I wanted to share the fun! There are so many types of game sites out there, some are free, some require memberships to play and some like to use real money.
I have played on all of the above. I like variety, I do get tired of playing the same games over and over again. I like a challenge and I also like to compete with other players. I have a couple of favorites that I have included links for you to check out yourself.
I belong to a couple of gaming sites that I pay a monthly fee for. Why would you pay a monthly fee, you may ask? The advantage of a monthly fee is trying new games, usually for a 60 minute trial period, then if I like the game I can buy it at a discounted price. So really, my monthly fee is the amount that I am paying for my game.
I have gone to discount stores to see if I am really getting a bargain by doing this and the answer is, yes I am! The stores price versus the monthly price I pay per game is a difference of a few to several dollars, it just depends on the game.
In choosing a game site to join, I did do some research. Some sites require a 12 month period to join and you have to pay monthly for 12 months before you can cancel. Other websites offer different packages, which depending on what you want, still saves you money and you can always upgrade.
For instance, I belong to one site that charges me $6.99 per month, however, I have to pay for 12 months, before I can cancel. Another site I belong to offered this same deal plus a couple of other package deals. I choose the one where I pay $9.99 and I can cancel at any time. I choose this option because I wanted to be able to have time decide if I really liked this site and again, I can always upgrade.
Another advantage to game sites is I am able to download the game directly to my computer, no software to install! Love that option! I have to re down the game for any reason, all I have to do is sign into my account and re down load the game. If you like the idea of having the software, you also have the option at the time of purchase to buy a back up CD, of course this option is extra.
I would love to know what you think and hear from those of you who love to game as much as I do, with your favorite game site.
Happy Gaming!
